## About this ride.

The Twisted Sisters — Ranch Roads 335, 336, and 337 — string together the tightest, most technical pavement in the state. The classic loop runs Medina → Vanderpool → Leakey → Camp Wood → Barksdale → Rocksprings and back, with more than 200 turns, blind crests, low-water crossings and dramatic canyon drop-offs. Fuel is scarce (top off in Leakey and Camp Wood), cell service is spottier still, and deer, cattle, and gravel are constant hazards. In return you get some of the finest riding pavement in North America: RR 337 for the sweepers, RR 336 for the wooded ridge running, RR 335 for the long, open Nueces canyon descents. Time it for a weekday to dodge the crowds, and finish with a burger at the Frio Canyon Motorcycle Stop in Leakey.

Highlights

- ● 200+ curves
- ● Frio & Sabinal canyons
- ● Lost Maples State Park
- ● Frio Canyon Motorcycle Stop
- ● Camp Wood fuel + food
