## About this ride. 

Start in Johnson City at the LBJ National Historical Park visitor center, then head west on US 290 through Stonewall (LBJ Ranch, peach stands, and a growing string of wineries) into Fredericksburg for lunch on Main Street. Loop south on RR 1376 through the Grape Creek wine district to Luckenbach — yes, that Luckenbach — for an afternoon beer under the oaks, then back east on FM 1888 and US 290 to Johnson City. Pavement is smooth throughout, traffic is light off-peak, and the whole loop is easy in a car, on a bike, or in an RV.
