Loop south on RR 1376 through the Grape Creek wine district to Luckenbach — yes, that Luckenbach — for an afternoon beer under the oaks, then back east on FM 1888 and US 290 to Johnson City. Pavement is smooth throughout, traffic is light off-peak, and the whole loop is easy in a car, on a bike, or in an RV.
